Joanna has been involved in the craft world since 1979. She has written over 30 books on cookery, herbs, stencilling, crafts and flowers during the past 20 years and is now best known for her work on TV with her craft CDs, cardmaking and pressed flowercraft programmes.

She lives in Devon with her husband Richard. Joanna moved to her thatched farmhouse in 1985 and the surrounding countryside, especially wildflowers, have been great sources of inspiration over the years.

Devon’s natural beauty – its stunning coastline and dramatic moorland, and natural bounty – wonderful fresh produce living and growing right on the doorstep mean there’s always plenty to inspire her.

Joanna has also found time to write four novels, three of them inspired by her Devon life, and co-written with her friend Julia Wherrell.
